The Facility
Custom Compositions is situated in Miami, Gold Coast in a quiet industrial area. The facility itself is a converted factory. Two rooms form the core of the facility, the exceptionally spacious performance room and the acoustically designed control room.
The performance room can house more than 20 performers, with a high ceiling for hanging overhead microphones. Lit by two high wattage halogen lamps, the space is usable 24-hours a day.
The control room sports custom design with a large joining window, truncated rear wall and low ceiling. The control room is fitted out with Dynaudio monitoring, Tascam pre-amps, a 24-track digital control surface, several computers, many Shure, AKG and Rode microphones, a variety of synthesisers by Novation, Roland, Korg and Yamaha and various midi controllers.
Both rooms are available for hire. The performance room makes an excellent rehearsal space for ensembles up to 20 players. The control room is availble for hire to qualified audio professionals, or to bands and individuals who agree to having an inhouse engineer present.
